Androgynous rocker Marilyn Manson and girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood, both clad in black, were spotted at LAX on their way out of town. The pair wanted to bring their kitty along on the trip but it appears Marilyn forgot to bring the cat carrier. Is Marilyn just going to put it in a box...or the overhead bin? That would be very Manson of him! Evan may just have to make do with her stuffed kitty substitute! 

Hanging around the exit of LA's super-popular Villa Lounge usually guarantees some celebrity spottings and the crew exiting the club last night was no exception. Canadian punky pop star Avril Lavigne - smiling for once - and hubby Deryck Whibley from Sum 41 headed to the parking lot in good spirits.  Ultimate fighter Chuck Liddell enjoyed a bottle of mineral water as he exited and Nicky Hilton and Michelle Trachtenberg were the "Ladies in Black." Where's the after party, guys?

Katherine Heigl got dolled up and exuded some old-school Hollywood glamor as she donned a red satin dress for her appearance on last night's "Late Show with David Letterman." The actress, on the promotional tour for her new rom-com "27 Dresses," kept warm under a white coat as she greeted fans who gathered outside New York's famed Ed Sullivan Theater for the show's taping. Katherine should really embrace this old Hollywood look  - then she'd have an excuse to smoke her beloved ciggies - Bette Davis was never without one!

Blake Lively, star of the hit show "Gossip Girl" was one of the celebrities who celebrated with Chanel last night at it's "Night of Diamonds" party at Manhattan's newly-remodeled Plaza Hotel. The party's theme was based on the Black and White Balls thrown by author Truman Capote at the Plaza in the 60s, and the guests, including Selma Blair, Helena Christensen and Ellen Pompeo (with hubby Chris Ivery) dressed accordingly. Blake could pass for a 60s socialite in that black lace gown, couldn't she? It's a far cry from her trendy duds on "Gossip Girl!"

Johnny Depp and Tim Burton brought their horror movie musical to the "City of Light" last night with the French premiere of "Sweeney Todd" on the Champs Ellysee in Paris. Fans waited in the rain for hours to get a glimpse of the director and his Golden Globe-winning muse. Johnny eschewed glamor for comfort on the red carpet in a pair of distressed jeans, long black jacket, lavender scarf and brown fedora. He looked like he just rolled out of bed, which could be true, as Johnny calls France his home!

Whatever Britney wants, Britney still gets. The troubled singer had an urge for some late-night shopping Wednesday night and stopped at West Hollywood's trendy Kitson store with some friends, including the omnipresent Sam Lufti. Brit was decked out in a red and black print mini, black jacket, a pair of fishnet stockings that has definitely seen better days and a pair of cowboy boots. After she picked up a few items for herself, she changed into a man's dress shirt and tie and popped into the equally trendy Kitson Men, most likely to pick up some gear for Adnan - or maybe another tie for herself!
