"Private Practice" star Kate Walsh finds out there's nowhere to hide from photographers, not even in an underground parking garage! Kate visited a Century City office building yesterday and was spotted at the cashier, paying for her space. The 40-year-old actress, as always was impeccably dressed - this time in a gray mock turtleneck, jeans and a  black coat - and she still has that newlywed glow! What's more impressive is that she got a parking space - in LA!

Lovely Eva Mendes, one hot mademoiselle, went to the City of Lights, Paris, to screen her new film "Live!" The actress, wearing a simple but stunning black empire-waisted dress, enchanted reporters and photographers alike as she talked about her film, a "mockumentary" about a reality game show where the contestants play Russian Roulette - with real guns. If the writers' strike continues, do you think they'd actually ever consider adding this show to the line-up?

"Brothers and Sisters" star Calista Flockhart, looking slightly disheveled, and a friend did a little shopping on LA's trendy shopping street Melrose Avenue yesterday, making a stop at the World of Vintage Tee-Shirts store. It's just hard to see the former tailored suit-wearing "Ally McBeal" in a vintage tee - she's wearing a knit twinset here, for goodness' sake! Do you think she may have found some old "Star Wars" tees with her beau Harrison Ford on them?

Starbucks be damned! Emmy-winning actress Patricia Arquette opted to brew her own cup of joe before heading out to a Los Angeles-area gas station yesterday. Why no love for Starbucks, Patricia? I mean, she's from a showbiz family that includes her former brother - now sister - Alexis, so she's a non-conventional kinda gal...but it's probably because she can't order a "Medium" cup of coffee from there!

The actor, in New York to supervise support wife Katie on her talk show tour promoting "Mad Money" (she was on "The Late Show with David Letterman last night) arrived at the swank Carlyle Hotel solo yesterday. You've gotta give it to Tom, he always dresses like a star. His dark suit and stylish sweater remind us of what a cutie he was, before L. Ron got his hands on him!

Britney Spears, her paparazzo boyfriend/personal assistant Adnan Ghalib and friend Sam Lufti were spotted leaving the Gaucho Grill restaurant in LA after the singer made a feeble attempt to go to court for a custody hearing over her kids Sean Preston and Jayden James. She and her entourage pulled up at the downtown LA courthouse and Brit, wearing a lace minidress, attempted to make her way into the courthouse, amid a swarm of photographers. She announced she was scared, got back into her car and took off. Britney's ex, Kevin Federline, was in the courtroom and testified about Britney's breakdown earlier this month. Britney's custody and visitation rights are still suspended, but she gets another chance to reinstate those rights on February 19th - think she'll actually make it into the courtroom?
