"Sex and the City" star Sarah Jessica Parker, tries to stay low-key, but finally waves to the cameras as she leaves the Serge Normant at John Frieda salon in New York's West Village yesterday. After her afternoon of beauty, Sarah made the short drive back to her home. If you'd like to get the celebrity treatment from Serge, you'd best save up - he charges $500 for trimming your locks! It takes a lot of dough to be a sexy star, doesn't it?

Who's the actor getting a bit cheeky here? It's Tom Hanks, bending over to put his John Hancock on the specially designed red carpet for "Charlie Wilson's War" at the film's UK premiere in London. The actor, not surprisingly, hammed it up for the cameras on the red carpet in Leicester Square and even wore a scarf for a local football club (that's a soccer team for us Yanks!).

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were among the celebs on the red carpet for the premiere of Katie's new crime caper, "Mad Money," at LA's Mann Village Theater last night. Co-star Queen Latifah and R&B diva Mary J. Blige were among the other stars at the event, but Katie, in a silver strapless dress and Tom, in a blue velvet jacket, were the center of attention. I'm going to keep my mouth shut about the whole Tom n' Katie thing...but she does look much happier in the poster behind her.

Will Smith, obviously not happy with the almost $400 million worldwide box office receipts for his sci-fi epic "I Am Legend", jetted to Italy to promote the flick. Hey, someone's gotta keep him in those sharp suits! The Fresh Prince posed in front of posters for the film - translated into Italian - at a press photo session at Rome's Hotel Hassler. The translation of the title is "Io Sono Leggenda". Sounds like a delicious pasta dish...mmm...pasta....

Who's that girl? It's a newly blonde Amy Winehouse! The singer decided to get rid of her signature brunette beehive and go platinum. Maybe famed fashion critic Mr. Blackwell putting her as number two on his annual "Worst Dressed List" had something to do with this. Maybe she just wants us to know she's trying for a new start in '08. Amy showed off her new 'do while running errands with her dad in London today. Unfortunately, she's still hanging on to those nasty ballerina flats!

Gee, Simon Cowell sure is tan. If he gets much more sun, he'll be approaching George Hamilton territory! The "American Idol" judge is still in the Caribbean, chilling out before the new season of his hit show starts up on January 15. How much jet skiing can one man do? I guess that, and walking on the sunny beach, is working for him, as he looks quite slimmed-down. "American Idol" is just not going to be as much fun this season without seeing Simon molest his man-boobs!
