Even though it's warm and balmy in Miami, comic actor Dax Shepard and "Heroes" star Kristen Bell bucked the swimsuit trend and hit the beach in long pants. Rumors about a possible relationship between the pair have been swirling around for the past few weeks, but their PDA indicates they've decided to let the cat out of the bag! The pair spent New Year's Eve together at a party at The Raleigh Hotel on Miami's famed South Beach. A "hero" for a girlfriend - what a great b-day gift for Dax, who turns 32 today!

The Spice Girls welcomed 2008 together, as they partied the night away in London, while in the middle of their blockbuster reunion tour. The girls, who play a whopping 17 nights in London, shared dinner at Nobu Berkeley before heading to Claridge's to ring in the New Year. Victoria and David Beckham, sporting extremely close-cropped hair, left the club at 2am, followed by Geri "Ginger" Halliwell and her ex, comic actor David Walliams ("Little Britain"). Emma "Baby" Bunton, Melanie "Sporty" Chisholm and Melanie "Scary" Brown packed it in around 3am. I hope they resolve to stay together and record a new album!

Rapper/actress/fashion designer Eve decided to skip the chill of Times Square and spent New Year's in South Beach with a friend. She looked mind-blowing in a black and white print bikini - which spotlighted her trademark claw tattoos - and a colorful cover-up, which she ensured covered her lower half as she walked on the sand. Eve doesn't look too happy to see the photographers - she looks like she might "Give it to" them!

Action star Jason Statham must have "always look hot" as one of his New Year's resolutions, and he's certainly sticking to it so far! The actor was spotted splashing in the surf in Miami Beach, where he rang in 2008 with a mystery woman. For those of you who can't get enough of this hunky Brit, Jason's latest flick, "In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale" (directed by Uwe Boll - you have been warned!) hits theaters on January 11.

Paris and the Hilton clan invaded Las Vegas in order to celebrate New Year's. Paris and Nicky partied at Pure nightclub in Caesar's Palace on Saturday night. The sisters snuck out a back door and headed for another club just as mom Kathy and dad Rick showed up - because no one, not even celebutantes, wants to party with their parents! Paris, wearing a silver sequined mini-dress, certainly looked like she was having a really good time! The dress sure brings out her glazed eyes, doesn't it?

New Year's Eve in the Big Apple was a star-studded affair as always and Times Square was the place to be to ring in 2008. Carrie Underwood and Miley Cyrus, who both performed for "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" were spotted in the street - they admitted that when the ball came down, they didn't know the words to "Auld Lang Syne!" Who does, really? American Idol Jordin Sparks, Kid Rock and CNN's Anderson Cooper were also among the partying performers.
