Spotted at Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday, a camera-shy Owen Wilson prepares to leave the Southern California city.
In a recent interview, good friend Ben Stiller finally spoke about Owen's alleged suicide attempt that occurred in 2007.
"It's impossible to understand that kind of pain - depression or anything like that - until you're in it... I love Owen. I felt bad that he had to deal with all the outside bulls**t," Stiller told Playboy Magazine.
You're hot, you're talented, you act, you write and you may have suffered from a chemical imbalance: Let's hope you're getting it together, Owen... or at least getting your med cocktail right. You can do it, man!

give that guy a break, will ya, he's a sweetheart. Besides there are oodles of pics to prove he's a happy heart once again! Smooches to Owen!
Lets face, we're not exactly brimming with excitement when we're on our way to board yet another flight...
I definitely think that he is still depressed. You can see it written on his face and in the way he carries himself. TMZ has video of him at the airport on this day and he can barely summon the effort to answer when his greeter says something to him.
Owen was headed back to Texas. It's like he can't stand being in L.A. for more than a couple of weeks at a time. He was probably feeling lonely and sad and wanted to be around his parents.
You should read "Hello to All That" by John Falk. It's a memoir about clinical depression. The author suffered (at times horribly) for TWELVE YEARS before finding the right medication. Depression doesn't just go away ... sometimes it can last a lifetime.
The world misses Owen's smile ... I'm sure that he misses it, too.
It's just really sad...
That's more like it. Nice job, MD. ;)
Okay okay -- I softened it up a bit. "Come On," you rule me. :P
If he is, then I stand by my statement of this being very distasteful. You guys can do better. ;P
I probably could have done a better job at relaying the fact that Stiller indicated in the Playboy interview that Wilson's battle w/ depression is ongoing. That may have driven my points home a little better. Sorry, "Come On"!
OK, for this one I have to say shame on you guys! Way to make fun of someone's plight by splashing it in a headline on your little blog. This is usually one of the "nicest" blogs and it's one of the reasons this is one that I actually look at. But this was very distasteful and rude guys.
And why are you assuming that he's still depressed anyhow? Because he covers his face or looks down when guys with cameras are flashing in his face and paps are probably yelling at him in their typical fashion? You presume too much.
