Farrah's Final Resting Place

Stage Mom: 07/01/2009
One day after the late Farrah Fawcett's funeral services in downtown LA, family members and close friends gathered at the Pierce Bros Westwood Village Memorial Park to lay the former Charlie's Angels star to rest.

In attendance was Farrah's longtime partner Ryan O'Neal, father James Fawcett, best friend Alana Stewart, and personal oncologist Dr. Lawrence Piro.

Afterward, O'Neal shared his grief with other guests and appeared to get special condolences from Stewart.

I was extremely saddened by Farrah`s passing. She was a beautiful human being, inside and out. I grew up with "Charlie`s Angels" and could not get over her stunning beauty. She also gave me endless hours of entertainment, both on television and in magazines. I cried bitterly when she passed away. She really was a true angel. My condolences go out to Ryan, Redmond, Tatum and Alana. May the Good Lord comfort you in your time of sorrow.

You are now with the Stars Farrah. Sadly, you are still missed, but you aren't suffering anymore after such a painful and long struggle. If I am in the Los Angeles someday, my wish is to visit your gravesite and pay my respect. So long Ms. Fawcett.

Just surfed back in to look at the pictures again. Such a sad ending to Farrah's story. Esp. heartbreaking seeing her father say goodbye. Well, at least she is at peace. Wish the same could be said about Michael Jackson. Anyway, love your site. Thanks.

We met at the Cafe Central on Amsterdam Avenue in NYC in the 1980's, when Sylvia Miles took me to sit with Ryan and Fawcett. What a sparkling couple they made. And beyond nice too. She was, as everyone says, an angel. And Ryan was just so terribly charming and handsome. So much intense beauty from both. At the time, I didn't realize that she and I shared the same birthday. I wish we had met again. Alas!!! Stop saying nasty things about Ryan, I mean, my God! Jeremiah Newton

Farrah, you were a very brave and courageous woman. You went through a great ordeal and now it's over. You have earned your rest. We love you.

Ryan was dressed much more formally for the church service. This was the private, casual service that was held afterwards. I think Farrah would have loved it. Afterwards, I read they all loaded up and went to a favorite restaurant where a DJ/band played music, lots of them her favorite songs.

Thanks for the pics. Farrah's wish was to be cremated like her mom. She had her mom's ashes in her bedroom. Where are all her friends? Not right. My condolences to
James Fawcett. Farrah, God Bless You. Most beautiful woman ever. With a heart to match. Courage beyond compare. Fly high and free now and all brand new. @-->-----

You would think Ryan would have dressed in a little more than an undershirt looking thing and jeans for this event of a, so called, loved one. Just out of plain respect, I believe he should have dressed a little better.

Thanks for the pics. In a tragic week like this where we lose two stars, your pictures made me feel like I went to the funeral. Thank you. I always enjoy your website.
