We spotted Drew Barrymore on the set of Going The Distance early yesterday. 

Then, we caught sight of her again after she'd swapped outfits.  Lady is lookin' good.  Perhaps she's glowing because beau (and co-star) Justin Long was also on set yesterday... making this film seem all the more appropriately-named.

Huh.  Looks like Gossip Girl: The College Years is keeping with tradition.

By that we mean they're still dropping the girls into short skirts and making them sit realllllllllly awkwardly on random city steps.  Because, c'mon, it wouldn't be Gossip Girl if they sat in, oh, chairs?  Or benches?  No no.  It's ground or stand for these Upper East Siders.

Yesterday, Blake Lively and Leighton Meester (want that dress) filmed a scene on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Yesterday, a bleedy-eyed David Duchovny was roughed up by some policefolk and carted off in handcuffs.  Yeah, it was probably just for his show Californication, but poooooossibly for the crime of being unlawfully DILF-y.

A fluffy-haired Natascha McElhone was there too, being all purdy and concerned-looking and stuff.

Do frequent Our-Patz sightings make us less appreciative of them?  You tell us.

We just feel like we've been getting an eyeful of Robert Pattinson lately.  Not a bad thing, certainly.  But, it does make us remember those rare Vancouver Pattinson sightings where we'd get all giddy and feel as if we'd spotted the illusive and majestic Sasquatch.

Today, Rob, Pierce Brosnan, and Emilie de Ravin got all gussied up for whatever scene they were filming for Remember Me.

Jon and Kate Plus Eight reality star Jon Gosselin was seen in Cannes today with his two bad habits: chain smoking and his mistress girlfriend girl-stress Hailey Glassman.

The couple went shopping at Gucci, then to lunch, bringing a cloud of second hand smoke and bad karma with them.  Also, we got a really sexy peek at Jon's beer gut.  Delish!

A correction to what we reported earlier: it is not Hailey that is in talks for a fashion line.  No, it's better than that.  Jon is in talks for a children's fashion line for KMart... and the clothes will be modeled by his very own litter.

How... lovely?

Did this little phenomenon set off some sort of sequence of world-altering events that have rearranged the reality we live in?

We mean, Jessica Biel was not the most sour-faced celebrity spotted leaving the Hollywood Bowl after last night's Ray LaMontagne, Jenny Lewis, and Blitzen Trapper concerts.  In fact, she and Justin Timberlake looked fairly unconcerned with our camera's presence.
