Last night, Eva Longoria Parker and Amaury Nolasco flashed their pearly whites at Longoria's Beso restaurant (she sure knows how to get the mileage out of that thing).

The pair announced the 2009 NCLR ALMA Award honorees.

Longoria will co-host the September 17th awards show with George Lopez.

All the posters around town featuring Jason Bateman's face and the word "extract" had us hoping the magical qualities he embodies had somehow been forced out of him like the juice of an orange, bottled, and made available to the paying masses.

But no.  Said posters were to advertise a film.  And said film premiered last night at the ArcLight Theatre in Hollywoodland.

Extract stars Jason Bateman and Mila Kunis were on hand.  Bateman's wife Amanda Anka was there too, along with actor Cheech Marin and his wife Natasha Rubin.

This is where we can't help but get giddy about an Arrested Development movie.  Sorry.  Comes with any Bateman territory...

Well, it's really never too early for gossip.

The cast of Gossip Girl got an early start this morning, and were in their Sunday Tuesday best for whatever scenes they were filming.  Hilary Duff had the most amazing before and after transformation (oh, the magic of makeup) and Kelly Rutherford played mom on and off set with her daughter Helena Grace (cute!).

Personal favorite?  Jessica Szohr's gorgeous with a capital GORGE ivory 1940's style dress.  We are seriously drooling over it.

Oh, and let's not forget Penn Badgley in a suit and Ed Westwick in a tux.  Yeah, you're welcome.

Fame whores Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt landed in Los Angeles yesterday to a flurry of paparazzi.  Heidi was looking less like her made up self and more like her I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here self.

Now that Audrina and Whitney have their own Hills spin-offs, how long until Speidi have theirs?  There is this funny incling that it is just around the corner.

All sorts of people living in (and soon-to-be living in) your domestic moving picture box (a.k.a. television) hit up Skybar last night at L.A.'s Mondrian Hotel.

The occasion?  Nylon Magazine's TV Issue Party.

We noticed some standouts, hair-wise.  After her stint on The O.C., we don't know that we'll ever quite warm to a non-blonde Samaire Armstrong.  Meanwhile, The Real O.C.'s (yup, we're dwelling on ancient credits) seems to have taken her mane into Playboy Bunny peroxide blonde.  We'll pretend Shannon Elizabeth's now-dark 'do is a sign of her mourning her recent breakup.  Then there's Diablo Cody and her striking new pixie cut.  We like it!  Totally fits her too, don't you think?

Newly engaged True Blood lovers Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer looked, uh, newly engaged and True Blood lovers-like.

And, it's going to hurt as as much as any compliment we toss toward Paris, but:  We kinda sorta really like Aubrey O'Day's shoes.  And we don't mind the matte pink lip stuff either.  Can you make bacon out of pig wings?
