That's a sentence we never wanted to hear.
Paris Hilton was in Las Vegas last night to host the opening of Vanity night club at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. She also had her favorite accessory with her (Doug Reinhardt, not Tinkerbell), of course.
They strutted into Rare 120° restaurant for a bite to eat before the event. Rare isn't as hardcore as raw, but we'll let it slide this once.

Kiefer Sutherland landed in Los Angeles last night with a smile on his face and a cigarette almost instantaneously stuffed in said smile.
Kiefer was toting a garment bag with his suit for the Golden Globes. We think it's safe to assume he'll be wearing this piece of finery.
We appreciate how those glasses on anyone else (say... Alan Cumming!) would play entirely differently than when worn by Jack Bauer. Kiefer morphs them from Silverlake Chic to Thinly-Veiled Threat in 3 seconds flat.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Oh how we love your exquisite set of teeth! It seems oh so fitting that you would eventually play the role of the tooth fairy.
Last night, Dwayne and his daughter Simone Alexandra, departed from Los Angeles International Airport. We assume Dwayne is off on a whirlwind promotional tour for Tooth Fairy.
The film also stars our darling Julie Andrews, making the tally of stars who were able to shake Disney's shackles stand at 2.

Dwayne Johnson, Flying Fairy.
Yesterday, we spotted professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek prowling around Los Angeles with some unsavory types. Upon realizing those unsavories were the cast of Jersey Shore, we promptly unlatched the trap door on our nuclear fallout shelter, climbed into our subterranean fortress, and proceeded to rock ourselves back and forth and mumble gibberish that sounded like, "Make it go away. Just make it go away!"
Then, later that day, our prayers were answered.
We spotted the cast catching a departing (good riddance) flight out of LAX. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino caused a bit of a situation himself when he tried to light an electric cigarette while moving through security. TSA simply asked him to put it out (because we doubt they want to have to frisk The Situation).

Last night, a whole slew of stars headed to Beverly Hills for The Art of Elysium's 3rd Annual Black Tie Charity Gala. The event came complete with a prom-like theme: Heaven.
There were a lot of stars there. So, instead of dwelling on our dislikes, we'll first focus on our favorites:
- Marisa Tomei's pink and black number. A-dorable.
- Regardless of fashion, we love Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr's red carpet interactions. Again, A-dorable.
- We anticipate seeing Odette Yustman's dress in our dreams (and perhaps also on our credit card statement).
- Minka Kelly = va va voom.
Some secondary things to ponder:
- What happens if Adam Lambert or Katy Perry enjoys a cocktail shrimp? That is just a Tide commercial waiting to happen.
- Camilla Belle? Somewhere, a lamp is shadeless.
- Also. Kat Von D's face. What happened to it?
- Ashley Olsen can wear whatever she wants, so long as she keeps making gems like this.
The Art of Elysium is a nonprofit organization that encourages working actors, artists and musicians to voluntarily dedicate their time and talent to children who are battling serious medical conditions. For more info, visit their website.

Stars Get Elysium Artsy in "Heaven".
Awards season is a merry olde (with an 'e') time at the BGO. Why?
Well, trophies are like some sort of continents-spanning aphrodisiac for film's finest actors. It's like they can smell gilded figurines and start coming out of the woodworks.
Which is fine by us! And so it begins:
Kate Winslet and Daniel Day Lewis were all kinds of smiley as they arrived at LAX (separately) on Saturday. We half expect to photograph them, noses to pavement, as they follow a scent trail leading to the Kodak Theater.
