Robert Pattinson and his new haircut filmed a scene on a train for his new movie Water for Elephants, based off the novel of the same title by Sara Gruen.
If you haven't read it (and if you haven't you really should-- it's great) the plot is set in the 1930s around a college dropout who ends up joining the circus. The film will also be starring Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz.

I too am a 40 yo mother of 3 teenagers, and I have NEVER been this infatuated with an actor or a celebrity my whole entire life...not even during high school LOL. Rob is a beautiful man to look at but also to watch and listen to. I wish him every success.
I'm 56 and haven't been this infatuated with anyone since the Beatles came over the pond. AND, he is a good actor. People who ditz his acting aren't watching some of the really good stuff he's done (I love Twilight) like Remember Me, and Little Ashes. And he is so bashful, he's adorable.

I read the book, and I guess 'technically' Jacob IS a college dropout...but his parents get killed in a car accident and Jacob messes up his final exams...hardly a 'dropout' as he went all the way through the end of school. He was just too upset to take his exams. It seems a little cruel to call him a 'college dropout.'
