While the crowds of fans waited to get into the Staples Center this morning, Michael Jackson's family held a private memorial service at Forest Lawn Cemetery. 

Afterwards, the gold casket left Glendale to make its way to the public memorial.

Well, we never thought we'd see the day.  On the other hand stranger things have happened...

The usually elusive Brad Pitt had a bit of a breakdown with his motorcycle today near Franklin Village in Los Angeles.  Unable to solve the problem, Pitt requested a ride... from the paparazzi.

We like to think once he returned home they made each other lanyard bracelets, braided each other's hair, and swapped their sticker collections.

In other news, pigs were seen flying over Beverly Hills.

One day after the late Farrah Fawcett's funeral services in downtown LA, family members and close friends gathered at the Pierce Bros Westwood Village Memorial Park to lay the former Charlie's Angels star to rest.

In attendance was Farrah's longtime partner Ryan O'Neal, father James Fawcett, best friend Alana Stewart, and personal oncologist Dr. Lawrence Piro.

Afterward, O'Neal shared his grief with other guests and appeared to get special condolences from Stewart.

The oldest of the Jonas Brothers, Kevin Jonas, finally proposed to his girlfriend of two years, Danielle Deleasa.  The couple met in 2007 when they were both vacationing in the Bahamas.

We saw these two love birds ring shopping back in March.

If you listen carefully, you can actually hear the pain radiating off of the 'tweens.

A US Airways plane flying from Charlotte to Los Angeles had to take a slight detour by landing in Albuquerque today. 

Why?  Because some dude thought it was a good idea to give the passengers a strip tease.  Talk about in-flight entertainment!

50 year old Keith Wright had to be detained by off-duty police officers after he started stripping and running erratically around the cabin.
